Current Series

My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers (First published in 1927 and continually in print ever since) has become one of the most popular Christian books ever written. Have you heard of it? If not, get ready to be introduced!
We’re going to ask you (challenge you) to read this devotional book every day for three weeks during this series. Many of you probably have the book laying around (find it!). Others of you who like books (and like to write in books) may want to purchase one for yourself (we recommend getting the “updated edition in today’s language”). Or, if you are a computer person, you can read each day’s devotion online at http://utmost.org (from there you can even subscribe to the devotion via Facebook, Twitter or an RSS feed).
On Sundays during this series we’ll use one of the week’s daily devotions as a spring-board to our teaching topic. On August 22 we’ll talk about “peace,” on August 29 we’ll talk about “joy” and on September 5 we’ll talk about “worship.” Grab the book. Grab your Bible. Let’s be inspired together to give our utmost for His highest!
