LIFE Groups

"Making followers of Jesus Christ committed to a life-long pursuit of loving God and loving people."  (VP's mission)

So how do you become a "follower of Jesus committed to a life-long pursuit of loving God and loving people?"  Well, there's lots of things that contribute, but we believe that the best "habitat" for this to happen is in a small relational community with other followers of Jesus. At VP we call these Life Groups.

Life Group are the central adult ministry at VP.  A Life Group is a small group of people (4-6 married couples or 6-8 individuals of the same gender) who commit to help each other love God and love people more fully.  They are connected relationally and seek to follow Jesus together in community.  They are about being the church with a smaller number of people.  

In Life Group we emphasize the journey together and declare that what is central is relationships - with God, each other and the community/world. At VP we offer three types of groups: couple's groups, women's groups and men's groups.  These groups gather each week throughout the greater Holland/Zeeland area (in homes, coffee shops, at work or at the church) for friendship, bible study, prayer, encouragement, challenge, accountability and more.
