Calling all podcasters! Submissions are now open for the RESONATE Pitch Party and will remain open until Aug. 31. For a third consecutive year, VPM will sponsor the RESONATE Pitch Party happening on Oct. 26 at the Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) at VCU. The 3rd annual RESONATE Podcast Festival takes place from Oct. 25-26 at the ICA.
The RESONATE Pitch Party has been a part of the RESONATE Podcast Festival since the first year of the event in 2022. This year, there is a national call for submissions seeking three finalists for the Pitch Party. The finalists will present a live pitch at the festival in front of a panel of judges and a live audience. The winner will receive $10,000 from VPM to create a pilot episode of their podcast.
All finalists will receive free passes to the 2024 RESONATE Podcast Festival and will have the opportunity to work alongside podcast industry professionals to craft their pitches prior to their presentation at the RESONATE Pitch Party. Finalists must attend the RESONATE Podcast Festival and participate in the Pitch Party to win.
If you or someone you know is interested in launching a podcast, this is a great opportunity to show what you can do! The festival presents networking opportunities for attendees to be able to share ideas and connect with new and established podcasters.
