The Carter Center and the White House Historical Association are inviting the public to write condolences

Members of the public can offer their own condolences for Carter, both in person and online.

The Carter Center has launched an online condolence book on its tribute website for people to share their memories of Carter.

And if you're in Washington, D.C., the White House Historical Association is inviting the public to sign an official condolence book. That will open at 9 a.m. on Monday at The People's House: A White House Experience, at 1700 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20006.
