VPM had a great time at the Richmond Folk Festival last weekend and we hope you were able to attend! The Richmond Folk Festival celebrated its 20th anniversary and thousands of people attended the festival to enjoy the music and art from a diverse array of cultural traditions.
In celebration of this anniversary, VPM – along with Venture Richmond and the Richmond Folk Festival – created The Sounds of Culture: 20 years of the Richmond Folk Festival, a documentary that looks back at the festival’s roots and how it shaped the event that is so well-attended and fondly regarded today.
