Cellist Juliana Soltis frequently performs around the country, but she’s based here in Richmond. She recently released her third album, titled “American Woman” and produced by Navona Records. The music on this release highlights underrepresented women composers.
Juliana stopped by our VPM studios to talk with me about this latest project. She discussed her extensive research on the various composers she presents on the recording. Take a listen as we talk about the music and share some excerpts.
