NASA eClips™ at Home fuels kids’ curiosity as they investigate science and the world around them through the lens of NASA. This program builds upon NASA eClips™ video segments to bring education and entertainment into the home and classroom. In each episode, interns work together to explore and demonstrate scientific concepts related to a specific topic. Segment topics developed for students in grades 4-7 and correlated with Virginia Standards of Learning, include simple machines, the solar system and the water cycle. Mentored by National Institute of Aerospace STEM educators Dr. Sharon Bowers, Joan Harper-Neely, and Betsy McAllister, NIA/Center for Atmospheric Research and Education (CARE) interns Sarah Adewumi, Lenore Miller and Jacob Wologo create, direct and film the show from their homes. Final video production is performed by NIA media specialists Seth Robinson and Caleb Stern.
