On Monday, July 14, Delegate Betsy Carr graciously presented VPM with a resolution from the Virginia House of Delegates commemorating VPM’s 60 years of service to the community.
The resolution highlights VPM’s history, including its establishment as a nonprofit back in 1964. WCVE-TV signed on air on channel 23 for the first time in September of that year, and continues to provide Virginians with news, arts & culture and educational content across television, radio, digital and social platforms to this day.
