UVA honors slain athletes during home game against JMU

On Nov. 13, 2022, a shooter, who was identified as a member of the University of Virginia football team, opened fire while on a charter bus returning to Charlottesville from Washington, D.C., leaving teammates Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr. and D’Sean Perry dead. Two others were injured.

Chandler, Davis and Perry were honored throughout Saturday's game, the first at home of the season.
