Pianist Lara Downes is known to be a storyteller and activist. She always has new, interesting projects to talk about and now is no exception. Her latest venture is a video series for NPR Music titled "Amplify With Lara Downes." In her engaging style, Lara says "the mission of the series is to present intimate conversations with Black musicians who are experiencing creative awakenings during a time of transformation and uncertainty."
