Laura Ann Singh is a true musical treasure, a Tennessee native calling Richmond home but hungrily embracing world influences, especially from Latin America. She was co-founder of the globe-hopping bomba ensemble Miramar that’s appeared at Washington’s Kennedy Center, the Lincoln Center in New York and on NPR’s Tiny Desk series. Laura Ann also appears with Quatro na Bossa, further sealing her deep love for the music of Brazil.
Most recently, Laura Ann would enlist the elegant backdrop created by the Rosette String Quartet, made up of four adventurous Richmond women, to release Crumb of Me in the spring of 2025, with songs reflecting her formative years in RVA. This is the album release concert that was recorded last May (2025) at In Your Ear’s Studio A.
