Pope Reinstates Excommunicated Bishops

Pope Benedict XVI has revoked the excommunications of four bishops. They are members of a society formed in the 1970s to protest what they saw as an increasingly liberal church.

John Allen is senior correspondent for the National Catholic Reporter. He reports one bishop, Richard Williamson, is particularly controversial for denying the Holocaust.
