VPM News team received seven awards for excellence in reporting in the 2019 Virginias Associated Press Broadcaster Awards. The awards were presented virtually on May 2, 2020.
“These awards recognize the hard work and commitment of our VPM News staff members in a wide range of categories," said Bill Miller, Vice President of News and Music at VPM. "We are honored to have received seven recognitions in our first year in this competition. We will continue to strive to bring thoughtful news coverage to our audience on the issues that matter most to our region.”
