Revisiting the fairytale, Jack and the Beanstalk, offers children a chance to hear the tale in a different way and retell it with their teacher. When a young child hears and retells the same story, they become familiar and comfortable with a greater number of words and phrases. A local educator retells the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and takes us on a field trip in his backyard garden where we see his beans growing along with many other vegetables. Join a local family having fun together playing the game of Chutes and Ladders. Does climbing up the ladders or sliding down the chutes remind you of something Jack did? Grades: Preschool and Kindergarten.
