VPM, together with its producing partners, has received four Regional Emmy Awards from the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Since 1958, the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter has worked to foster and recognize outstanding achievement in television production throughout Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

In the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic, “A Public Calamity” examines the impact of the 1918 flu pandemic on Richmond, Va. and explores the catastrophic effects of reopening too soon.
The Future of America’s Past (Producer: Field Studio)

From the series’ second season, “School Interrupted” explores how a student strike in Prince Edward County, Va. became part of the effort that culminated in the Supreme Court’s landmark decision Brown v. Board of Education, outlawing segregated schools.
