Virginia will have a new Republican Governor soon when Glenn Youngkin is sworn in as the 74th governor of Virginia on Saturday, Jan. 15. History will be made during the inauguration with Winsome Sears, who will become the first Black woman to hold statewide office in Virginia when she is sworn in as lieutenant governor. Jason Miyares will also make history as the first Latino elected as attorney general.
