On April 11, WCVW 57.1 will upgrade its signal to NEXTGEN TV, also known as ATSC 3.0.

If you don’t have an ATSC 3.0-capable TV, you will need to tune to WCVE 23.5 to see VPM Plus after April 11.

If you are a Richmond viewer who relies on an antenna to watch free, over-the-air television, you may need to rescan your TV to receive VPM Plus on WCVE 23.5 after the upgrade.

Cable and satellite viewers will not be impacted, and viewers outside of the Richmond market do not need to rescan.

NEXTGEN TV, also known as ATSC 3.0, is a new generation of digital TV technology, which offers enhanced video and audio and broadband connectivity for viewers with compatible televisions. To learn more about NEXTGEN TV, visit WatchNextGenTV.com.
