“We’re thrilled to bring our hit podcast series to Richmond to learn from the diverse private and public sector on the ground about best practices in the space of early childcare,” says Lemonada CEO and co-founder Jessica Cordova Kramer. “We are so grateful for our partners at VPM and Robins Foundation for their support.”

“As is the case across the entire country, the childcare crisis in Virginia is complex. Staffing shortages, low pay for providers and an overall lack of affordable, high-quality childcare have combined to create a perfect storm that requires all hands-on deck. VPM is excited to work with partners to address this critical issue,” said Jayme Swain, President & CEO of VPM and the Virginia Foundation for Public Media. “Absolutely,” agreed Chris Chin of Robins Foundation. “Through cross-sector collaboration and the implementation of innovative solutions, Virginia is working to raise awareness about the importance of early childhood and to ensure that all families across the Commonwealth have access to affordable, high-quality childcare that meets their needs. We are excited to partner with VPM to share some of Virginia’s creative approaches to this crisis with No One is Coming to Save Us listeners.”
