The VPM News team has won four Regional Murrow Awards from The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) for its comprehensive coverage of several significant issues and events around Virginia.
RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards are among the most prestigious in broadcast and digital news. Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Murrow set as a standard for the profession of broadcast and digital journalism.
“These awards are a testament to the hard work and determination of our news team to deliver Virginians quality journalism,” said news director Elliott Robinson. “I couldn't be more proud of them and look forward to seeing them continuing to connect Virginians to the latest happenings around the Commonwealth.”

Regional Murrow Award winners automatically advance to the national competition in August, followed by a celebration at the Edward R. Murrow Awards Gala on Oct. 14 at Gotham Hall in New York City.
