Dadi's son interviews him
Dadi Neopaney with his family in their home in Richmond, Virginia.

What is it like to build a career, only to have to start again completely from scratch?

When the opportunity came for Dadi Neopaney to move to the United States, his family joined thousands of Bhutanese refugees applying for resettlement. When he arrived however, he had to start his career over.  We follow his job journey from flagging -- standing on the side of the road in a costume, encouraging others to file their taxes -- to lawn care, to serving food in a cafeteria, to working in a hospital as a care manager. Nearly a decade after his arrival, we join Dadi’s two sons to watch him graduate with a Masters Degree in Social Work.
