Deb Freeman is the Executive Producer and host of Finding Edna Lewis. She has previously made her mark through an award-winning podcast, Setting the Table, and in print across an array of high-profile publications, including Eater, Condé Nast Traveler, and Food52. She has been honored by Black Women in Food, Slow Food USA, and named by Axios as one of the “most powerful Richmonders.”
Hannah Ayers and Lance Warren produce and edit Finding Edna Lewis. Additionally, Lance is a cinematographer for the series and Hannah is the sound mixer. Their company, Field Studio, is behind the VPM-distributed projects How the Monuments Came Down and The Future of America’s Past. They’ve been awarded four Capital Emmys and the American Historical Association Award for best historical documentary.
Stephen Bailey is a cinematographer for Finding Edna Lewis. He is a Jamaican-American director, cinematographer, and DOC NYC 40 under 40 Honoree. His work highlights those who go beyond the limits of their mind, body and culture to expand our belief of what is possible.
Alec Gary is a cinematographer for Finding Edna Lewis. He is the co-founder of The Sunroom, a Richmond-based production company. In addition to cinematography, he is also an editor who blends technical proficiency with creative vision.
