Composer Gernot Wolfgang has released a new album of original chamber music titled "Vienna and the West." It's a follow-up to his Grammy-nominated "Passing Through" in 2016. The various chamber works are written for a variety of instruments.
Wolfgang's music is described as "contemporary classical music," influenced by other styles, particularly jazz. He sat down with me to discuss his compositional style and how this album came together.
