Harpist Yolanda Kondonassis and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ward Starerecently collaborated on the album "American Rapture." The release includes the world premiere recording of Jennifer Higdon's Harp Concerto, written for and dedicated to Yolanda Kondonassis (Update: the piece won the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Classical Composition). Also on this album are the Symphony No. 1 in One Movement by Samuel Barber and another world premiere recording of Patrick Harlin's Rapture."
