Cellist Jonah Kim is one of America's finest young cellists and he has just released his newest album "Approaching Autumn." The repertoire includes the Sonata for Solo Cello by Zoltán Kodály and the Sonata for Cello and Piano by Edvard Grieg. The title work is by American composer Mark Abel, described as "an atmospheric and adventurous duo in one movement."
Jonah joined me for a discussion about the repertoire and his latest projects. He's joined on the album by the esteemed collaborative pianist Robert Koenig.
