Local pianist Joanne Kong is the Director of Accompaniment and Coordinator of Chamber Ensembles at the University of Richmond. This Sunday (September 18th) at 3pm, she will present a special lecture recital in Camp Concert Hall, honoring the 300th anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach's masterful Well-Tempered Clavier Book I (1722). She'll talk about Bach's life and compositional artistry, and perform selected preludes and fugues on piano, harpsichord and clavichord!
Listen in as I chat with Joanne about the program. The concert is free to attend and tickets are not required.
Yours in good music,
Mike Goldberg Classical Host, VPM Music
