Grammy-nominated composer Peter Boyer is one of the most frequently performed American orchestral composers today. His music truly has an American flare to it, and he's equally at home in the TV and film industry as he is in the concert hall.
A recent release includes eight of his works, with six world premiere recordings with the London Symphony Orchestra under Boyer's direction. The title work of the album is "Balance of Power," a three-movement work commissioned by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in honor of the 95th birthday of Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Secretary of State. The recording also features "Fanfare for Tomorrow," commissioned and premiered by the U.S. Marine Band at the inauguration of President Joseph Biden, in a new orchestral version.
