I hope you will join me this Sunday morning, October 23rd, from 10:00 until noon, as in the first hour I take you on a musical journey to four of my favorite cities: New York, Chicago, Memphis, and New Orleans. Each city will receive its own set with the likes of A.C. Reed, James Cotton, Eddie 9V, Zora Young, Shaun Murphy, Mississippi Heat, and more.
It's going to be a great time and you won’t even need to make a reservation. Heck, you don’t even need a ticket. Just show up and we’ll go on tour!
In the second hour, we’ll settle back into the porch proper and celebrate the music of The Wood Brothers, Nikki Lane, Elton John with Leon Russell, KT Tunstall, Bob Dylan, Dave Alvin and so much more.
Looking ahead to next week, I’ve gotten a few requests for Halloween music to get everyone in the mood for my favorite holiday, so, I’ve put together a two-hour salute to the season. Many of your favorites will be there and hopefully a few new ones that you will enjoy as well.
