Virginia Opera returns to the Carpenter Theatre stage this weekend with their production of Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata." It's the tale of the stunning courtesan Violetta (played by Brandie Sutton) and the hopelessly romantic Alfredo (Won Whi Choi), along with some of the best-known music in the repertoire.
Artistic Director Adam Turner and soprano Brandie Sutton (Violetta) sat down with me to discuss the current production. I hope you enjoy our chat and also take a listen to additional insight from Resident Scholar Joshua Borths!

Performances are Friday evening (March 17th) at 8pm and Sunday afternoon (March 19th) at 2:30pm.
Yours in good music,
