The Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia is back in action this weekend with two performances in Richmond. The theme for the concerts is dances (from all around the world) and how they influenced the "best of chamber music."
Performances will be held Saturday (4/15) at 2pm in the Richmond Public Library and Sunday (4/16) at 4pm in the Unitarian Universalist Church on Blanton Avenue in Richmond. Artistic Director/CellistJames Wilson and pianist Terrence Wilson joined me for a discussion about the programs. Other featured performers this weekend include flutist Mary Boodell, violinists Suliman Tekalli and Brendon Elliott, as well as violist Rachel Yonan.
I hope you enjoy our chat and have the chance to check out one or both concerts!
Yours in good music,
Mike Goldberg
