Music fans from all over the country gathered at Maymont last weekend for the Richmond Jazz and Music Festival, which returned to stage this year after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
VPM Music's Annie Parnell, host of Jazz Weeknights, spent the weekend at Maymont and spoke with musicians Rahsaan Cruse Jr. and Jerel Crawford about the festival's return and their different musical offerings.
