This weekend in the Carpenter Theatre, the Richmond Symphony continues their Symphony Series with "Brahms, The Romantic." The orchestra will perform the second symphony by Johannes Brahms and a world premiere by Composer-in-Residence Damien Geter. They'll be joined by Italian violinist Francesca Dego as soloist, playing the Violin Concerto by Ferruccio Busoni.
Performances are Saturday evening, January 20th at 8pm and Sunday afternoon, January 21st at 3pm. We'll have pre-concert talks one hour before each concert.
