Senate subcommittee kills Glenn Youngkin budget's income tax cuts

The governor’s proposal included cutting taxes by roughly 12% for all tax brackets, increasing the sales tax by 0.9%, removing sales tax exemptions for digital goods and increasing credits for low-income families.
Transportation bills on the move in General Assembly

In 2023 there were more than 25,000 crashes on Virginia roads, resulting in 449 deaths. More than 2,400 of those involved serious injuries. According to VDOT, all were caused by speeding.
