The Richmond Piano Trio is returning to the stage for their first performances together since before the pandemic. The program will be presented in Perkinson Recital Hall at the University of Richmond Monday evening, March 4th at 7:30pm and repeated at The College of William & Mary on Thursday evening, March 7th at 7pm.
I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with the trio, which is made up of pianist Joanne Kong, violinist Daisuke Yamamoto and cellist Neal Cary. We discussed the repertoire for this program, which features trios by Grieg, Debussy and Beethoven.
