The Belvedere Series continues this weekend at the Marburg House in Richmond. "Illumination" is a springtime program takes you on a journey from Ukraine through America and Belgium, ending in Russia with Sergei Rachmaninoff's lush and exuberant cello sonata. It will also feature the premiere of Domenic Salerni’s "Seven Meditations" for piano trio, The Belvedere Series’ first commissioned work.
Artistic Director Ingrid Kellerand composer Domenic Salerni joined me for a discussion about the commissioned work.
