This weekend's Richmond Symphony concerts feature Principal Horn Dominic Rotella

The Richmond Symphony continues its Symphony Series this weekend in the Carpenter Theatre. The orchestra will welcome guest conductor Anthony Parnther for a program featuring the Symphony No. 8 by Ludwig van Beethoven and the Symphony No. 3 by Florence Price. Principal Horn Dominic Rotella will be the soloist, performing Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 4.

Dominic and I connected to discuss his time so far in Richmond and the unique features of the Mozart concerto. Performances are Saturday evening, May 4th at 8pm and Sunday afternoon, May 5th at 3pm. We'll have pre-concert talks one hour before each performance.
