The Richmond Symphony's season finale is coming up this weekend in the Carpenter Theatre. The symphony and chorus will be joined by the Baltimore Choral Arts Society to perform Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem, conducted by Music Director Valentina Peleggi.
Valentina and I were joined by the symphony's new Chorus Director Richard Robbins on "An Hour with the Richmond Symphony." We talked about their collaboration and the history of the Requiem. Performances are Saturday evening, June 1st at 8pm and Sunday afternoon, June 2nd at 3pm. We'll have pre-concert talks one hour before each concert.
