The Waybacks made their annual pilgrimage to River City from the west coast back in November of 2022 and sold out one of our great partner venues, the Tin Pan. Earning a major east coast following, thanks to their legendary Hillside Album Hour at MerleFest, this inventive California band comprised of Chuck Hamilton, Joe Kyle Jr., Warren Hood and James Nash can’t be categorized, but the Waybacks can always be counted on for a night of imaginative and well-crafted music.
