The Richmond Symphony continues their Symphony Series this weekend, with concerts Saturday evening (11/2) at 8pm and Sunday afternoon (11/3) at 3pm in the Carpenter Theatre at Dominion Energy Center. The program features music by Carlos Simon, Johannes Brahms and Antonin Dvorak. The guest soloist will be violinist James Ehnes, who will perform the Brahms Violin Concerto.
Music Director Valentina Peleggi joined me on "An Hour with the Richmond Symphony" for a preview. We'll have pre-concert talks one hour before each performance this weekend.
