October of 2024 saw a joyful homecoming for Rebecca Hoggan Frazier, who grew up in Richmond and set her sights on a career in music early on. After immersing herself in the bluegrass scene in Colorado and now Nashville, Rebecca paved the way for the current crop of female lead guitar players like Courtney Hartman and Molly Tuttle, famously making the cover of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine way back in 2006. With her band Hit & Run bluegrass she played our In Your Ear concert series ten years ago and the recent Tin Pan appearance you’ll hear was a CD release party for her 1^st project in a decade, Boarding Windows in Paradise, on Compass Records.
