This show features a band that dates back to the beginning of the new millennium in San Francisco’s Bay Area, as they set out to make their mark as a touring band of roots rockers with well-crafted originals and creative covers. Many of us got to know the Waybacks through their long tenure at North Carolina’s MerleFest where they began hosting the eagerly anticipated Hillside Album Hour, now an annual Saturday afternoon must see. The Waybacks have earned an ardent RVA fan base and they’ve been making the cross country trip to play here every summer for years.
