The Richmond Symphony will be performing their final concerts of this year's Symphony Series this coming weekend in the Carpenter Theatre. The orchestra will be led by guest conductor Michael Repper in a program that includes the Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz, with other works by Alexander Borodin and Gabriela Ortiz.
Michael joined me recently on "An Hour with the Richmond Symphony" to discuss his background and give a preview of these concerts. The performances will be held Saturday evening (May 17th) at 8 and Sunday afternoon (May 18th) at 3. We'll have our usual pre-concert talks one hour before each performance.
Yours in good music,
Mike Goldberg
