Henrico County’s rapidly-expanding White Oak Technology Park is getting another equipment manufacturing company to support data centers here and abroad.
Henrico is fast becoming a data center hub for the Mid-Atlantic, and attracting businesses to support it. This one, from Ireland,
“Anord Marnix an Irish company that manufactures and distributes low and middle-voltage electrical switch gear for data centers.”
Michael Ivey, Greater Richmond Partnership,
“Is investing 907 thousand dollars to establish its second US operation in Henrico.”
The relationship began five years ago, when the Greater Richmond Partnership and Henrico Economic Development recruited the company. Henrico Board Chairman Tyrone Nelson says the company’s success here supports the county’s growing data center cluster, and will supply parts across the globe. It will create more than 50 jobs.
