A new Center for the Arts in Chesterfield County finally broke ground after three decades in the making.
The theater started as an idea back in the 1980s to be the permanent home for the John Rolfe Players. Euna Harrison is one of the original members of the troupe. She says she’s excited to have a space like this in the county.
“We deserve it in this area," said Harrison. "I think it’ll be all inclusive. I just think it’ll going to be a great addition to already wonderful amenities that Chesterfield has to offer.”
The center is expected to open in Fall of 2020.
