Developers of the Mountain Valley Pipeline have voluntarily suspended work on parts of the 303-mile natural gas pipeline in six Western Virginia Counties. Charles Fishburne reports.

Charles Fishburne: The suspension comes three days after a lawsuit raised questions about its impact on endangered species.
Fishburne: Harrison Wallace is the Virginia Director of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network, one of several environmental groups opposing the pipeline.
Harrison Wallace: The Mountain Valley Pipeline developers have shown blatant negligence in constructing their massive frack gas pipeline, harming drinking water, causing landslides and threatening endangered species.
Fishburne: In a letter yesterday, Mountain Valley told the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission the volunteer suspension covers “new activities” affecting construction of about 75 miles.
Fishburne: The Sierra Club and others filed the latest suit urging a “real stop” to construction while these issues are pending. Harrison says.
