Virginia voters can start casting absentee ballots in-person this week for the Presidential Primary election, happening on March 3.

According to the Virginia Dept. of Elections, in-person absentee voting will begin on Thursday January 16, Friday January 17, or Saturday January 18. Hours for in-person voting vary depending on the local registrar’s office.

Only Democrats are appearing on the ballot, because Virginia Republicans still have to choose delegates to their national convention.

There are 20 reasons Virginians can vote early, including being out of town for a business trip or school.

Virginians also need to bring a valid photo identification to go to the polls. IDs are also available at local registrar’s offices.

The Election Day is Nov. 3.
