Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners will hold its first virtual meeting on Wednesday. This change comes after Richmond City Council passed an ordinance last week allowing government agencies to stream public meetings online in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Residents and community members can sit in on the meeting, either online or through a call-in option. They will also have the opportunity to participate during a public comment period. However, people who wish to speak must register to do so by noon on Wednesday and are required to attend the virtual meeting to deliver their comments. RRHA said written comments will not be accepted.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow. To attend, community members can visit GoToMeeting, and use the access code 820-908-613 — or call in at (571) 317-3122.
