During the coronavirus outbreak, VPM is running a daily newscast of our reporting, hosted by Benjamin Dolle. Episodes are recorded at 6 p.m. and released for 7 a.m. the next day, Tuesday through Friday.

- The owner of several Gold's Gyms is appealing a ruling last week that it must abide by Gov. Ralph Northam's shutdown order.
- The National Guard is in Virginia, but contrary to conspiracy theories, they're helping test residents of long-term care facilities for COVID-19.
- A candidate for Richmond mayor is suing the city and state election officials, saying the requirement to collect signatures is an unfair burden during a stay-at-home order.
- VCU Health says they're seeing fewer stroke patients - and they worry that people who need help aren't coming into the hospital for treatable conditions that get worse without medical care.
- Feeling isolate? One neighborhood in Staunton has an answer - residents howl from their homes each night. Mike Tripp from partner station WMRA reported this story.
