During the coronavirus outbreak, VPM is running a daily newscast of our reporting, hosted by Benjamin Dolle. Episodes are recorded at 6 p.m. and released for 7 a.m. the next day, Tuesday through Friday.

In today's newscast: Black residents took the lead in confronting Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney about police use of force during George Floyd protests, a report from Tuesday's protest - the first police haven't tried to stop, City Council says it will support policing reforms, Gov. Ralph Northam announced a "phase two" reopening this Friday, a Confederate statue - owned by the United Daughters of the Confederacy - was removed in Alexandria a month earlier than the original planned date, and Liberty University alumni are calling on school president, Jerry Falwell Jr, to resign or apologize over racist statements.
