Virginia Beach Memorial

It’s been 3 years since a gunman killed 12 and injured 4 at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center.
Since then… city employees have created a number of memorials to those victims … including a large flower painted on the side of Mount Trashmore.
Mechelle Hankerson from our partner station WHRO was with them when they started painting earlier this month.
