Reported by Richmond BizSense’s Jack Jacobs

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille will begin demolition of the former Bar Louie at 11788 W. Broad St., which is an outparcel at Short Pump Town Center. Reported by Richmond BizSense’s Mike Platania

A once-popular dance hall from the 1950s has been given new life in Hanover. Motleys Asset Disposition Group recently completed work on the Wigwam Crossing shopping center, a project that included restoring the 1920s-era Wigwam Motel log cabin at 10393 Washington Highway. In addition to the revitalized log cabin, the project also includes a from-scratch 15,000-square-foot commercial building and a readied pad site next door.

Kleyman adds 31-unit mixed-use building to plans for Chimborazo crossroads

Reported by Richmond BizSense’s Jonathan Spiers

With 100-plus apartments already in the works and an additional mixed-use building planned across the street, Daniil Kleyman is putting the pieces in place for what he describes as an eastern gateway into Church Hill. The Richmond developer is looking to complement the pair of mixed-use buildings he’s already planning at Government Road and Glenwood Avenue with another three-story building on the east side of Glenwood, beside the Citgo gas station and Quik Stop convenience store down the hill from Chimborazo Park.
